Tubular Bells - ADI DESIGN INDEX 2011

Arthema's Tubular Bells system has been shortlisted for the ADI DESIGN INDEX 2011.
Tubular Bells, designed by Mr. Giulio Iacchetti, is a modular shelving system whose core feature is a joint that is produced in only a few simple steps: laser cutting, 90° bending and welding. The final result is a three or four-way joint, on which a steel plate to support the shelves can be fixed.

The virtually limitless array of combinations and the user-friendly installation make Tubolar Bells an extremely versatile system, complete with a wide variaty of colours and finishes available for the frame and the shelves - laminate, slate, solid wood, metal sheet. Tubular Bells is one of the projects developed under the artistic direction of Mr. Lorenzo Palmeri, that is aimed to consolidate the company's production potential and develop new markets such as interior designing or office furnishings.
